If there's one constant in the universe, it's that Harley Davidson motorcycles are practically synonymous with Fat Boys. For 2008, the boy have got a name, however. The Harley Davidson Dyna Fat Bob is the embodiment of all that Harley Davidson motorcycles has become over the past 105 years. With styling cues from the current Fat Boy and Dyna Low rider line incorporated into a package that pays homage to the custom cruisers being built in Europe, the Harley Davidson Dyna Fat Bob appears to be the motorcycle that is what Harley Davidson is all about.
The Harley Davidson Dyna Fat Bob is powered by the same air-cooled four valve 1584cc V-twin that can be found in several other Harley Davidson motorcycles, notably, the Dyna Street Bob, Dyna Super glide, and the Dyna Low Rider. The Dyna Fat Bob twin cam 96 engine by Harley Davidson is finished in matte black powdercoat, and sports a revised air box which is exclusive this year to the Dyna Family of Harley Davidson motorcycles. Rubber mounted, the twin cam 96 engine on the Harley Davidson Dyna Fat Bob is practically isolated from the harsh vibration that once could be found on Harley Davidson motorcycles, making the Dyna Fat Bob plush in comparison. There's plenty of torque on tap, however, not only to cut loose the rear tire on the Harley Davidson Dyna Fat Bob, but to let you know by the throaty growl that there's a real Harley Davidson beneath you.
